Sprinkler Park

We went to the sprinkler park today with Melanie and her sister Amberlee. It was incredibly hot!! but the kids had a blast of course! Jon Scott's nose was running and running and running!! but that didn't stop him from playing hard!

Mommy and Amelia BFF's 4-EVER!!

Amelia, Jon Scott and I went to Wal-Mart today!! We followed our list closely until we came upon some "princess" wear!! Amelia found a set of BFF necklaces so we bought them and now we are BFF's 4-EVER!!!!

Olivia Jolie Landry

My brother just had his fifth child!! My sister-in-law says they are done!! She was born July 10th at 7:30am in Lake Charles, Louisiana!! Scott and I went down to help her with the new baby and visit with family. We had a wonderful time!! I got to give her, her first bath! The kids helped me lotion her up and clean her belly button! Van (her brother) got a little grossed out by the belly button part! Helela was so excited to hold her she couldn't hardly stand it! She thought Olivia was hers and ONLY hers!!!

Amelia's Dance

Amelia's friend had a birthday party yesterday!! We all went and had a great time!! Amelia stole the show with her dancing!! They had a speaker right by the diving board so when she would get on the diving board she would dance then jump in! So the diving board is now called the Dancing Board!! It was very funny!! God help us!!! with raising these three girls!!! because they all love to dance!!!

Amelia's mad at Mama!!!

This is the best story ever!!! Today Amelia found a key in our house "somewhere"??!! So I asked her to let me see it and of course she refused. I told her if she didn't give it to mama I'd take it from her, which I did. I was looking at the key while she was telling me how I had hurt her hand. She said "Look mama, this is where you hurt me. See...."

Our Pink Palace Adventure

We went to the Pink Palace yesterday! We had a blast! They had an exhibit about treasure which the girls loved because of the movies National Treasure 1 & 2. Jon Scott did exceptionally well! He even "panned for gold". We went around the museum part taking silly pictures. They had taken furniture out of the museum for redecorating so we danced in the living room! Of course the girls ate that up!! Any excuse for them to dance their tails off!! They were saying spin me like this, twirl me like this! I was worn out by the time we were done! They did a pose in front of some Elvis posters, pretended they were scared in front of the polar bear, stirred their chocolate in front of the kitchen display, so on and so on!! Enjoy

This is Amelia's 4th birthday party!! She is such a big girl! She wanted a princess cupcake "cake" for her birthday, so the ladies at Krogers made her one up. Her only present that she kept saying she wanted was a new bike. At first she wanted it to be a princess bike but as we discovered they didn't make them in her size. Luckily we found a Dora bike and she was in love!! She rides it almost everyday and rings the little bell on the handlebars all the time! She taught Jon Scott how to ring it and now I find him ringing it too. Enjoy the pics!

Jon Scott's B-Day!!

Mr. Jon Scott turned 1 on May 6th and here are a few pics of his birthday party. MawMaw and Paw Glen came down to help us celebrate it!! He got his first baseball and mitt and his first 4-wheeler. Scott put him on the table and he went right for the cake!! Of course he had to have a John Deere cake!! He got so dirty I had to wash him in my kitchen sink!! He was a mess from head to toe!! He loved every minute of it!!

Rachel & Zuri's Visit

My sister, Rachel, and her 15mo old, Zuri, came to visit a few weeks ago. We had an awesome time!!! Jon Scott and Zuri played really well together. It was so neat seeing the little cousins getting to "play". As soon as they got here my girls wanted TauntTaunt to go swimming! Zuri had to get her sunglasses on before she would go outside! She's startin' young!!! She kept her sunglasses on for a very long time!! I'm amazed b/c I couldn't get my kids to keep a silly bow in their hair much less a pair of sunglasses!!

Here's another cute story: Zuri would bend down at the side of our pool, point and say "NO blablabla". Rachel interpretted for us..."No Diving". The reason for that is, at Zuri's neighborhood pool it says "No Diving" on the sides and she points at it and says it when she swims at home!! "NO DIVING" So now we all say "NO DIVING" and laugh b/c it reminds us of our sweet litle LIFE GUARD ZURI CATE!!!

During their visit we took all the kids to the Keller Williams Office, Target, the Children's Museum and that's about it!! We were so worn out that we pretty much just let them all play in the backyard which they enjoyed the most I think! While we were at Target the babies rode in the baby buggy. We took pics of them swinging their arms at each other and laughing!! Which didn't last long b/c they felt they needed their freedom to explore our TARGET!! At the Children's Museum they fell in love with hula hoops and the Krogers grocery store! Zuri even tried to STEAL two hula hoops!! She grabbed them and started walking toward the doors!! Lastly, they ran around Keller Williams like a couple of Real Estate Agents just babbling!!!! "Buy Sell, Buy Sell" Too Sweet!!!

Amelia wanted to wait until Zuri got here to have her 4th birthday party! Zuri was so excited that Amelia got a Dora bike!! When Amelia wasn't on it we rode Zuri around on it and she loved it! Amelia also got sidewalk chalk for her birthday! She loves coloring on our sidewalks!

While Zuri was here the girls put colorful stripes in their hair. Of course Amelia thought Zuri needed some as well. She let us do a few before she started fussing at us!!!!

Then the morning before they left Zuri decided to take one more swim! So her taunt (that's me) had to change her outfit!! But it was worth it she said!!! We were so sad to see her (and her mama) go but we know there will be a next time!! We luuuuuuuvvvvvv you Zuzu Maroooooooo!!!!
